FLEXA Furniture Extends PJ Drive for Child Haven
Submitted: January 20th 2009
LAS VEGAS - Because of generous donations made by the community to FLEXA Furniture's pajama drive, the eco-friendly childrenŐs furniture store is extending its pajama drive in order to help even more children in need when they receive care at Child Haven.
Now through Saturday, Feb. 28, customers can drop off brand-new pajamas in sizes for infants through teens at FLEXA at Town Square. Each customer who donates a pair of pajamas will receive a complementary plush toy. The pajamas will be distributed to the children who receive care at Child Haven.
We were so overwhelmed at the outpouring of support for the children of Child Haven, said Christian Egly, managing director of the U.S.-based FLEXA Furniture stores. We want to continue the momentum so we can help as many well-deserving children as possible.
Child Haven, a part of the Clark County Department of Family Services, provides temporary care and treatment for abused, neglected and abandoned children between 3 days to 17 years of age. FLEXA has chosen Child Haven as the charity of choice for various fundraising events and activities throughout the year.
FLEXA at Town Square is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays. The store is located on the street behind Robb & Stuckey and Border's Books. For more information call 877-FLEXA-LV (353-9258) or visit www.FlexaFurniture.com.
